Lake Arrowhead Brewing Co.
Hello Friend! Welcome back! I’m glad you’re here!
Today’s post is our very first business feature! Feature posts go to places or events that stood out to me on my travels and deserve more than a smaller mention in my travel summary posts. Today’s feature has the honor of being the first and it goes to… (drumroll please.)
Lake Arrow Brewing Company!
This brewery was pointed out to my partner and me while we were on a boat tour on the Queen Arrowhead. We thought that we could stop by and taste what they had available. The Brewery is located very close to Lake Arrowhead Village but I would still recommend having a car to get there. On the other side of LA Village is LA Resort Hotel and then just past the resort is the brewery. It shares a parking lot with a local private club so parking in the correct area is important. But you really can’t miss the place. The sign is pretty big.
The brewery is family-friendly and dog friendly and has loads of events for the community to come together and taste the beer. They also work together with local food trucks that come in for events throughout the week.
Immediately when you walk in, you can see the huge fermenter tanks on the side of the warehouse and the bar right in the center. There are tables indoors but the charmer is the large patio with tables and umbrellas surrounded by mature pine trees on all sides with the back end carved out of the side of a hill.
We noticed all kinds of games throughout the space, some on the side like corn hole and some that were table top that I did not recognize. We also spotted a charming community rock painting gallery. We had to imagine what it was like there during peak hours since we went straight from our boat tour to the brewery so we didn’t know about the food truck schedule and had arrived shortly after they opened.
Most importantly, I need to make sure all of you know. This place does not mess around with its brewing. They allow you to sample flavors before choosing and everything we tasted was a winner. We tasted a couple before landing on the “shoreline sour” flavor. I prefer my pale ales and this one tasted like summer vacation was brewed into a beer. We ended up taking home a 32 oz can that they canned for us on the spot.
We really loved the relaxed atmosphere that is so on brand with the rest of the vibe at Lake Arrowhead. The brewery is a new establishment and is already a home run in my book. I can’t wait to visit again during an event and experience it with the rest of the community involved.
Lake Arrowhead Brewing Company has their own line of merch if you are interested and can be found on their website at https://www.lakearrowheadbrewingcompany.com/
